HOUSE SEGARTE (1749) Miguel de Segarte, ruler of the city of Trinidad at that time, built his house in the second half of the 18th century and was inscribed in 1770 by this man and included in his testament, of Creole tile and stone on horcones. When he dies he passes the house to his son, the priest of the city Andrés Segarte, who placed the cross he has on his facade, where the ceremonies of the Lent stays were held, carried out in the middle of the street, in front of the house. Because of its social and architectural value it has become an icon or symbol of the city of Trinidad, so the Cuban State and the National Bank of Cuba decided to shape its façade in the 5c coin in CUC.
