Welcome to Refugio 204, our family home in a beautifully renovated colonial building in the heart of Havana, just 2 blocks from the Malecón and 1 block from the Prado. Our family lives in the building, and our guests stay in their own private apartments: high decorated ceilings, original patterned tiles, traditional rocking chairs and balconies with wooden shutters overlooking the lively streets of Havana. Each apartment has private bathroom(s) with 24-hour hot water, a living-dining area and a kitchen, plus air conditioning and Wi-Fi (it works without a VPN). We love meeting our guests on our terrace for a Cuban coffee, a chat and the best local tips: where to eat like a local, how to move around, where to change money, classic-car tours and more. Breakfast and airport pick-up are available on request (extra cost). You will be next to the Museum of the Revolution, Central Park, the Capitol, Plaza de la Catedral, Plaza Vieja and La Bodeguita del Medio, all within walking distance. Guests tell us our area has one of the most reliable electricity supplies in Havana. Good to know: this is authentic, lively Central Havana. You will hear music, street vendors and neighbours chatting, so light sleepers should bring earplugs!
