Welcome to our home in Shimokitazawa, Tokyo – a warm, international place created by Sae (Japan) and Jari (Germany). We recently opened our house to offer more than just accommodation. From our own experience of moving between countries, we know how important it is to arrive in a place that feels welcoming, supportive, and easy to settle into. From February 2026, we offer three private rooms in a beautifully renovated house featuring: -A bright shared living space -Fully equipped kitchen & dining area -A garden – a rare luxury in central Tokyo -Washing machine & dryer -Projector for cosy movie nights Located in Shimokitazawa, one of Tokyo’s most creative and vibrant neighbourhoods, you’ll find independent cafés, vintage shops, live music venues, small theaters, and a relaxed, artistic atmosphere right outside your door. At the same time, the location is extremely convenient: 5 minutes walk from Shimokitazawa Station, which connects you to -Shibuya (5min) -Shinjuku (10min) Our home is ideal for medium-term stays and for anyone looking not just for a room, but for a welcoming base in Tokyo. We look forward to welcoming open-minded and kind people into our home.
