Booking Deposit

• For bookings over 90 days, a payment equivalent to 2 weeks’ rent in advance is required as part of the 6-week payment.
• The 2-week rent-in-advance payment is non-refundable if the student cancels before the Residential Tenancy Agreement starts.
• For bookings under 90 days, a $200 hold is required as a guarantee against damages or extra services, or $500 for Studios.

Pay In Instalment

• Rent will be payable on a fortnightly basis.

Mode Of Payment

• For bookings over 90 days, the required 6-week payment must be made via the online portal or bank transfer before check-in.
• For bookings under 90 days, a credit card is required upon check-in.
• Accepted booking payment methods include Credit Card, Visa, Mastercard, Amex, JCB, Union Pay, EFTPOS cards, Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, and Cash

Additional Fees

• No administration fees apply for changing the check-in date.
• For under-90-day bookings, a $200 hold, or $500 for Studios, may be taken as a guarantee against damages or extra services.

Delayed Arrivals & travel restrictions

• If you are unable to travel due to government-imposed travel restrictions, please contact the team with the relevant supporting documentation. We will facilitate the request to review your circumstances and explore the possibility of cancellation/contract amendment. Requests are considered individually, and any outcome will depend on the property's review and applicable booking terms.

University Course Cancellation/Modification

• If your course has been cancelled by your university, please reach out to the team with the relevant supporting documentation. We will liaise with the property team to review your request on a case-by-case basis for cancellation. The resolution will be subject to the property's assessment and the terms of your booking.

Deferring Studies

• If you have deferred your studies, please contact the team and share your updated university documentation. We will notify the property team to review your request for cancellation/contract amendment. Requests are assessed individually, and the final outcome will be subject to the property's review and booking terms.

No Visa No Pay

• If the student is unable to secure their Student Visa, they may cancel the booking and receive a full refund of all amounts paid.
• Written notice must be provided to Campus Perth at least 1 week before the booked arrival or agreement start date.
• Official written confirmation from the embassy confirming the visa refusal must be provided.

No Place No Pay

• If the student is unable to obtain a place at the education provider they applied to, they may cancel the booking and receive a full refund of all amounts paid.
• Written notice must be provided to Campus Perth at least 1 week before the booked arrival or agreement start date.
• Official written confirmation from the educational institution confirming the enrolment outcome must be provided.

Early termination by students

• For short stays (bookings under 90 days), students who need to leave before the booked departure date must provide at least 2 weeks’ written notice.
• For long stays (bookings over 90 days), once the Residential Tenancy Agreement has commenced, the agreement cannot simply be cancelled.
• For long stays, the student remains responsible for rent payments until a replacement tenant is found by the student, in line with the agreement and applicable legislation in WA.

Replacement Tenant Accepted

• For long stays (bookings over 90 days), the student is responsible for rent payments until a replacement tenant is found by the student.
• The replacement arrangement is subject to the agreement and applicable legislation in WA.

Other cancellation policies

• Bookings at Campus Perth cannot be cancelled or refunded, except where the student's visa is declined prior to arrival.
• For short stays (bookings under 90 days), if the student cancels before arrival, the security deposit will not be refunded.
• For long stays (bookings over 90 days), if the student cancels before the Residential Tenancy Agreement starts, the 2-week rent deposit is non-refundable.
