This is a safe, quiet house exclusively for only women travelers and senior couples 50+ looking for peace, fresh air, and nature. Ideal to rest, write, study Spanish, or enjoy slow mountain life with Cartago city and hospitals only 15 minutes away. The weather is 16-22°C year-round. You get the tranquility of the coffee mountains with modern comforts, security gate, and city services close by. We have a small, calm family dog. YOUR ROOM Bright and peaceful private matrimonial room on the second floor with your own private bathroom and hot water. Wake up to floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors that open directly to your private covered terrace with mountain and forest views. Inside, relax in your cozy hanging chair, comfortable queen bed with high wood frame for easy access, and full-length mirror. The high wood ceiling keeps the room fresh at 16-22°C year-round. Includes: large closet and drawers, bedside lamp, Costa Rican art, fresh linens, WiFi, and wood-look tile floors. Your private space to rest, read, write, or enjoy morning coffee while listening to birds. MEALS No meals included, but you have 24/7 full access to our modern kitchen. Features: granite island with seating, gas stove with oven, refrigerator, microwave, air fryer, coffee makers, and all utensils. Large window overlooks the tropical garden. Local pulpería is a 3-minute walk. HOUSE RULES Only women or senior couples 50+. For safety and to maintain a peaceful environment, we do not accept only men, mixed groups, or young couples. Quiet hours: 9:00pm - 7:00am. No parties, no loud music, no smoking inside. No unregistered guests for the safety of everyone. Gated property with security. Free private parking for 1 vehicle. ABOUT ME I am a woman from San Juan Sur de Tobosi, Cartago. I live here with my family and our small dog. I make natural soaps and cosmetics from local ingredients from Zona de los Santos. We love hosting only women travelers and senior couples because we know how important it is to feel safe, respected, and at peace while traveling. This area is my home, and I'm happy to share the real coffee culture, nature, and calm of the mountains with you. As a social worker, I created this space thinking of women who travel alone and want to feel truly safe and welcome.
