Ryan and I are both retired and have been rented out rooms in our home for the past 9 years. It has been an enjoyable way for us to earn income and meet interesting people from around the world. I am British but have lived in The Bahamas for over 40 years and Ryan is Bahamian. Grand Bahama Island is just one of many islands in the archipelago, but we feel it is a good mix between the busy capital of Nassau and the quiet laid back vibe of a smaller family island. Our garden has a variety of fruit trees including coconuts, bananas, mangoes, mulberries and others that you are welcome to eat when they are in season. We offer transportation to and from the airport/harbour for a fee of $15 each way ( cheaper and more convenient than local taxis). We also offer cooked breakfast for $8 per person on a pre-arranged basis

House rulesA 25% deposit must be paid upon the booking being confirmed via Paypal.

- If the reservation is cancelled a full 7 days prior to the arrival date you will receive the full deposit back, less than 7 days and no refund will be given.
- The balance of your booking must be paid in cash upon arrival. Key will not be given until this is completed.
- No guests of guests ie: no overnight unregistered guests allowed on property.
- No parties or events.
- Must like or at least be tolerant of dogs, (we have 2 large rescues from the local shelter).
