Welcome to our home in Berchem, Antwerp: a quiet, green corner of the city where Iranian warmth meets Belgian cosiness. We’re a family who moved to Belgium several years ago, and we love hosting, meeting people and sharing the kind of local experiences that make travel memorable. We live with our young child, so our home has a warm, family atmosphere. At the same time, we deeply respect our guests’ privacy and personal space. Our apartment is on Fruithoflaan in peaceful Berchem, just steps from a tram stop that connects you to Antwerp city centre in around 15 minutes; while the street itself feels a world away from the tourist bustle. We’re happy to share our favourite cafés, markets, restaurants, neighbourhoods and places that many visitors might otherwise miss. If you tell us what you enjoy, we’ll be happy to point you in the right direction. A small, simple breakfast is included with your stay each morning. If you would like something more substantial, a special breakfast or a homemade Iranian dish, we can often prepare this for an additional fee. Just let us know in advance; we love sharing food and introducing guests to Iranian flavours. We speak English, Dutch and Persian/Farsi, enjoy meeting our guests, but we also understand that travelling can mean needing some quiet time. Join us for a coffee and a story, or retreat to your comfortable room; the choice is yours. You’ll have your own cosy double room with a 140 × 200 cm bed, wardrobe and a patio-facing window. The room is pleasantly quiet at night. During your stay, you’ll also have access to shared facilities including the kitchen, fridge, coffee machine, and washing machine. The sitting room is another comfortable place to relax. As the saying goes in Persian: “Guests are gifts from God.” We mean it. We’re looking forward to welcoming you to Antwerp and sharing a little bit of our home with you.
