Kumar Kothi is a heritage bungalow, and one of the first houses built by the landlords during the British era. It has a long history of ownerships by the then landlords, and ties to the very history of Darjeeling. The bungalow provides a breath-taking view of the snow peaked mountains from every angle of the bungalow. We have large modern bathrooms, wooden rooms and carpeted floors. Each room reveals a beautiful panoramic view of the Mt. Kanchenjunga and lush green valleys. A couple of minutes' walk farther down is the heritage Bhutia Busty Monastery, The Tibetan Refugee Self Help Centre, The Lebong Race Course and mini hiking trails. We will be happy to take you around for short hiking trails most tourist wouldn't know about:) We provide both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food and any special local cuisine if you make a personal request. You will need to inform us a day before for all meals, or at-least couple of hours ahead. Muscatel Darjeeling bed tea in the morning is complimentary.
