Namaste! Welcome to Our Home About Us We are a family of five: my mother-in-law, my husband, our two daughters, and myself. Our family is a blend of two different ethnic groups, and we speak several languages fluently, including Nepali, Newari, English, French, and Hindi. We love sharing the rich tapestry of Nepalese traditions and cultures with our guests. Your Host With a background in Hotel Management and a Master’s in Tourism, I manage our homestay and work as the secretary for our family trekking agency. I also teach French at the university level and previously worked at the French Embassy in Nepal. Beyond my professional life, I am a passionate yoga teacher and competitive yoga athlete—I would be delighted to lead a yoga session for you during your stay! Our Location Our home is located in the heart of Kathmandu, making it the perfect base for travelers: Thamel (Tourist Hub): A short 10-minute walk away. Tourist Bus Park: Just 5–6 minutes away (buses to Pokhara and Chitwan). Cultural Landmarks: Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple), Kathmandu Durbar Square, and the historic Ason market are all within walking distance. Convenience: We are centrally located, so you will have easy access to shops, supermarkets, and restaurants. Accommodation & Facilities The Rooms: Comfortable stays with access to a shared kitchen, ideal for long-term guests who wish to prepare their own meals (we ask for a small contribution toward utility costs). 2BHK Apartment: Perfect for families or groups. This private apartment includes two bedrooms, a living room, two bathrooms, and a fully equipped kitchen (stove, rice cooker, utensils, etc.).
