Single room in large house.

We would love to welcome someone into our home who is mature in mind, reliable and loves pets. We have a dog called Frankie and a cat named Skip. We have a large Victorian house and garden which we love being in. The room is listed as The Garden room, has a very small and basic separate shower, sink and toilet which allows for privacy, a single bed plus a pull out bed for a guest or family member to stay one night (if needed) and a chest of draws and closet in the hallway. It's perfect for one person. The photographs show the family bathroom, kitchen, garden, single room and family living room. My husband is a musician and works from home in his studio, you can see his studio in the photo of the garden. I teach at a nearby college in Greenwich. I enjoy swimming and of course walking Frankie. We go to see lots of live music and theatre. We have been hosting for many years and enjoy meeting new people and helping them navigate their way around London. Now our two children have grown up and left home we have noone to look after the pets while we're on holiday. Experience with living with a dog is recommend, if your interested in being in a pet friendly house, please get in contact. We live on the same road as Charlton railway station with easy access to shops, parks and the O2 arena. At the end of the street are local bus routes which can get you to the Jubilee Line, cinema and lido all within 5 mins. Charlton village has a park, nice pubs and good coffee shops. There are local gyms, a swimming pool, shops and cafes all in a 5 minute walking distance. We are always on hand to help and advise, we love people staying in our home and spend a lot of time in the kitchen and garden where guests are very welcome to sit with us to watch a film or to have a chat. We have travelled around the world and know how important it is to feel safe and secure. Bed linen and towels are provided. Use of the washing machine and all cooking appliances in the kitchen are included. The use of the garden is encouraged in the summer. I am out of the house in the day as work full time.
