Beautiful apartment with a balcony and a garden in Bela Vista neighborhood. Weekly cleaning service included. I live between São Paulo and Pernambuco; I will be in São Paulo for an average of only 12 days per month, meaning you will have the place to yourself for about 18 days. The apartment is 800m away from the São Joaquim metro station, and it is walkable to Avenida Paulista and the city center (República, Liberdade, and Sé). Amenities include a washing machine and space heaters. The décor has been curated over 20 years of travel, and the garden features around 100 plants, with a beautiful view of the Church and Convent on a quiet street. Please note: it is a third-floor walk-up (no elevator). Also, the church bells chime occasionally; I find it wonderful, but I want to mention it as it might be noticeable if you are sensitive to sound. Your room has direct access to the balcony. It features a high-quality futon sofa-bed from Futon Company, which provides a firm, double-bed sleeping surface. I have recently added a linen-upholstered headboard (not yet pictured). You will have a 4-door wardrobe, initially 75% empty for your use (I will use 3 shelves), but it can be 100% yours if needed. There is a bookshelf in the room that is cleaned monthly. You are welcome to move the TV from the living room into your bedroom. A foldable wooden desk on the balcony can also be moved into your room for work, and you are welcome to use a comfortable armchair from the living room. A little about me: I am a Carioca (from Rio), LGBT, and a pediatrician. When I am in São Paulo, I leave at 8:00 AM and return at 7:00 PM, Tuesday through Friday. I am looking for someone with a similar daytime work or study routine. For a harmonious home, it is important that we are aligned in our values: I am seeking someone with a sense of organization and care for the space, who respects diversity, has an interest in human rights, and appreciates cultural activities. If you enjoy cooking (I love a good chat in the kitchen), gardening, and playing sports, we have a lot in common! On rare occasions, a friend from out of town might stay for a few days in my room (this has not happened at all in 2026).
