"Switzerland of Kenya" in Tsavo

Taita is found in the upper coast of Kenya in the midst of the expansive Tsavo West National park, 2 hours drive from Mombasa and 6 hours from Nairobi. The home can easily be reached by both private and public transport from Nairobi or Mombasa. Guests can mingle with the host(terry or be lucky to meet the whole family of both parents and 2 adult siblings.) or have some private time as the house has enough space ( 2 kitchens, a study, 2 sitting rooms or lounge) or sit/walk around the expansive grounds filled with wonderful species of flowers and trees. Guests can go for a nature walk to the nearby dam which is accessible to our guests. Those who love to run, can join us during the week of October 18 2014 for the Annual Madoka Half Marathon going to its 9th edition. My interest is to set up an eco friendly home stay by putting up mechanisms for conservation of the environment and reducing harmful farming. Excursions to local touristic sites or to Tsavo National park(the largest national park in Kenya) can be arranged separately.
