Zen Simplicity: No Place like OM

Hi! My name is Nicole and I moved into the residence with my husband in 2020. After his passing in 2025 I converted the back of the house into a private unit. I have always loved hosting - albeit dinners or visitors - and so this just made sense. I remember when my husband passed I was left wondering how I was going to function. I didn't even know how to sink an anchor to hang a picture. Cut to present day, and I've installed a sink, performed minimum construction on the unit. and could sink an anchor in my sleep! Payment Method: Please note that we require guests to pay a $500 damage deposit upon arrival in addition to the booking payment. At check-out, once the property has been verified and confirmed to be in good condition, the deposit will be fully refundable. - The place features a bedroom with a queen-sized Tempur-Pedic mattress, plenty of closet space, a very large work desk, east facing window for natural lighting, and a 34" LG television with ROKU. - The living area features an oversized leather loveseat, more closet space, a 52" smart television with ROKU, extra blankets, one east facing window and one north facing window for plenty of natural lighting. -The bathroom was remodeled in 2020 with a new toilet, a shower, a pedestal sink, and I added a medicine cabinet for storage, colorful wallpaper, and plenty of hot water. - The kitchenette includes a sink, a NuWave induction stove with one burner, a 4.4-Cu ft mini fridge and freezer, electric kettle, air fryer, French press, salad spinner, food processor, microwave, etc. -The washer and dryer are in the kitchen area and the dryer was purchased new in 2025. Washer is agitator-style. -Street parking is free. Though the property is in the city, it has a very private and secure feel. The windows were replaced in 2020 and it is well-insulated. There is a 6ft privacy fence that encases a backyard that is divided with a chain link fence. In the back there is a very large and old white oak tree. In the front yard there are two very old and big trees that provide plenty of shade in the summer months.
