I am a retired Early Childhood teacher who is 65 years old. I am kept busy caring for a dear friend who is 93 years old and lives nearby. I am also involved in volunteer work with a choir and visiting people in aged- care who need companionship. I often have international homestay students stay with me who attend either Griffith University on the Gold Coast or the local High School on study tours. We are a quiet household and live in very peaceful surroundings. I have female ginger tabby cat called Ruby who is 9 years old. I love to travel and have lived and worked overseas in Kenya and Germany. I love hosting homestay students, as it gives me the opportunity to learn about different cultures. I have been doing this for the past 6 years. I have hosted students from: Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan and the U.S.
